Description:Human Mammary Epithelial Cells, when grown in LIMam Medium, provide an ideal serum-free culture model for many areas of research. Common uses of HMEC include the study of breast cancer development, three dimensional culture and carcinogen screening.
Cell Features:
HMEC are cryopreserved as tertiary cells, e.g. cells are isolated from human mammary tissue and expanded three times in culture vessels before being harvested for cryopreservation.
HMEC are extensively tested for quality and optimal performance.;
Quality Control:All cells test negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi;
Application:For research use only.
