Description: GGTI-2133 is a peptidomimetic inhibitor of geranylgeranyl transferase type I (GGTase I; IC50 = 38 nM). GGTI-2133 inhibits infiltration of inflammatory cells into airways in mouse experimental asthma. GGTI-2133 increase erythrocyte deformability but reduce low O(2) tension-induced ATP release.
